HR Excellence in Research at Cracow University of Technology
The HR Excellence in Research award at Cracow University of Technology (Politechnika Krakowska – PK) is a prestigious distinction granted by the European Commission. It recognizes institutions that implement the Human Resources Strategy for Researchers (HRS4R), ensuring transparent recruitment (OTM-R) and high-quality working conditions for researchers. PK first received the award in January 2017.
The award and related initiatives are coordinated by the Human Resources Development Office (Biuro Doskonalenia Kadr), established by the Rector on 1 July 2025. Among its key responsibilities are coordinating PK’s efforts to obtain and maintain the HR Excellence in Research distinction, overseeing the implementation of the OTM-R Policy in line with the European Charter for Researchers, and developing training and professional development programmes for PK employees.
