Beyond Academics

For many years, cultural and artistic life has constituted an important part of the PK Krakow University of Technology. The university hosts musical ensembles, and organizes concerts and exhibitions. We operate on the premise that education extends beyond the mere acquisition of knowledge. Art and music foster the development of imagination, sensitivity, and the ability to view the world from diverse perspectives. These competencies are as crucial for an engineer as technical skills.

Among the students and alumni of the PK Krakow University of Technology are many renowned artists, including Marek Grechuta, Sebastian Karpiel-Bułecka, Sławomir Mrożek, Andrzej Mleczko, and Zdzisław Beksiński.
