Technology Transfer
Depending on the individual needs of the entrepreneur, technology transfer from science to business can be carried out on a partnership or subcontracting basis. It is possible to draw on a rich portfolio of innovative solutions, or to jointly develop innovative solutions from scratch that address the specific technological and business challenges of your company.
R&D Cooperation
We offer assistance in selecting the appropriate technology and/or research team from our university. The CTT PK (Technology Transfer Centre) facilitates dialogue with PK Krakow University of Technology researchers, participates in negotiations, helps choose the right form of cooperation, and provides substantive support in areas such as:
- Creating product and/or service innovation together with the Company;
- Adapting Kraków University of Technology’s solutions to the conditions and needs of the Company;
- Analyzing the current state of the art, the Company’s level of technological advancement, and its development needs;
- Assistance with the substantive part of the application, e.g. in the SMART path under the FENG program, by describing the research problem, research method, novelty of the result, and the financial and work schedule of the module along with the R agenda;
- Carrying out commissioned work in projects as a subcontractor, as well as pre-project work to raise the TRL level of a given solution;
- Joint application for and implementation of research and deployment projects within a consortium.

Research Services for Companies
We offer flexible models for carrying out research, tailored to the Client’s needs:

- RD work – developing new solutions, technologies, or products, with the possibility of transferring agreed rights to the resulting intellectual property to the Client.

Support for New Technology Companies – INTECH PK
The role of the INTECH PK special purpose vehicle is to create and develop spin-off companies with university participation, based on solutions developed at Kraków University of Technology.
INTECH PK supports research teams in building independent businesses based on PK Krakow University of Technology’s technologies and in securing a business partner and/or strategic investor for newly established companies.
