INTECH PK is a network of people and organizations.

Commercialisation does not happen in isolation. Therefore, INTECH PK actively builds relationships with enterprises, investors, universities, research institutes, and clusters.

The company operates within the framework of the Agreement of Special Purpose Vehicles, the LifeScience Kraków Cluster, the South Poland Cleantech Cluster, and the PK Business Club.

The company is involved in projects connecting science, business, and public institutions. As part of the Science4Business – Science for Business / Development Incubator project, INTECH PK is a partner in a gigantic consortium implementing a project worth over 29 million PLN, which focuses, among other things, on increasing the efficiency of R&D commercialisation and creating spin-off and spin-out companies.

Where science meets business.

INTECH PK creates a space for meetings, and is an organizer, partner, or supporting partner of events where technologies and inventions meet entrepreneurs, investors, and experts.

The most important include:

  • INVENTION DAY AT PK – a cyclical presentation of inventions and technologies from the Kraków University of Technology
  • MAT-PUR – a scientific and technical conference co-organized by INTECH PK together with WIiTCH
  • Life Science Open Space – an international event for the Life Science community, where INTECH PK acts as a supporting partner
  • Deep Tech CEE Summit – an international event, with the participation of INTECH PK as a Supportive Partner
  • Demo Days, Hackathons, mentoring programs, expert panels – initiatives connecting science, entrepreneurship, and business.

Transfer of good practices.

The INTECH PK team has conducted over 100 training sessions and consulting services for scientific and business partners, local governments, foundations, and individuals.

It is the implementer of original CASELAB workshops – Laboratory of Good Practices, based, among other things, on its own know-how and Stanford University standards, where participants practically acquire knowledge in the field of commercialisation and technology transfer.

One of the most tangible effects of INTECH PK’s activities is the development of a portfolio of companies emerging around the technologies, competencies, and teams of the Kraków University of Technology.

Since 2015, the following have been established around the technologies and competencies of the Kraków University of Technology:

INTECH PK sp. z o.o. – a special purpose vehicle of the PK Krakow University of Technology – helps take the next step: transforming knowledge, inventions, and technology into solutions that can function in the market.

Since 2014, INTECH PK has been connecting the world of science and business.

It supports researchers, doctoral students, and students in assessing technology potential, business models, acquiring funding, establishing cooperation with enterprises, and creating spin-off and spin-out companies.

The company also assists entrepreneurs in planning and conducting R projects at PK and building relationships with the scientific community.

Close Synergy.

INTECH PK and CTT PK are two complementary arms of the same university – the Kraków University of Technology – providing complementary services.

CTT is a university-wide budgetary unit (part of the PK structure) responsible for intellectual property management and direct commercialisation from the university – granting licenses and selling patents to external companies.

INTECH PK is an independent commercial law company (limited liability) that implements market deployment projects for technologies by establishing and investing in spin-off and spin-out portfolio companies, developing technologies for further commercialisation.

An idea is the beginning. Commercialisation is a process.
