Compiled by&nbsp;analysts from Stanford University and Elsevier, the latest edition recognises researchers whose publications have received the highest numbers of&nbsp;citations worldwide.&nbsp;Our researchers are represented across the two lists, covering citations in&nbsp;2025 and career-long scientific impact.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<nav class=\"pkng-toc\" aria-label=\"Contents\"><p class=\"pkng-toc__title\">Contents<\/p><ul class=\"pkng-toc__list\"><li class=\"pkng-toc__item pkng-toc__item--h3\"><a href=\"#h-pk-researchers-listed-among-the-most-cited-scientists-in-2025\"><span class=\"pkng-toc__nr\">1.<\/span> PK&nbsp;Researchers Listed Among the Most-Cited Scientists in&nbsp;2025<\/a><\/li><li class=\"pkng-toc__item pkng-toc__item--h3\"><a href=\"#h-pk-researchers-in-the-career-long-ranking\"><span class=\"pkng-toc__nr\">2.<\/span> PK&nbsp;Researchers in&nbsp;the Career-Long Ranking<\/a><\/li><\/ul><\/nav>\n\n\n<h1 class=\"wp-block-heading\">&nbsp;<\/h1>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-justify wp-block-paragraph\">The World\u2019s&nbsp;Top 2% Scientists 2026 ranking identifies researchers whose work has had a&nbsp;significant influence on&nbsp;scientific development worldwide. It&nbsp;is&nbsp;based on&nbsp;data from the Scopus database provided by&nbsp;Elsevier and uses a&nbsp;range of&nbsp;bibliometric indicators, including the h-index, total citations and citation metrics accounting for authors\u2019 positions among publication co-authors. Researchers are classified across 20 scientific fields and 174 subfields.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A&nbsp;total of <strong>20 researchers from PK&nbsp;Krakow University of&nbsp;Technology<\/strong> appear in&nbsp;the list of&nbsp;the most-cited scientists in&nbsp;2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The highest-ranked PK&nbsp;researchers in&nbsp;this category are:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Assoc.
