The event brought together representatives of&nbsp;academia, industry, and research institutions from Poland and Taiwan \u2013 the world\u2019s&nbsp;center of&nbsp;semiconductor production and a&nbsp;symbol of&nbsp;the innovative economy of&nbsp;the 21st century. Prof. Katarzyna Bizon, PhD, Eng. In&nbsp;her opening remarks, she emphasized the importance of&nbsp;international academic cooperation, and highlighted the role of&nbsp;Krak\u00f3w and the Ma\u0142opolska region as&nbsp;a&nbsp;hub of&nbsp;technological and innovation-driven growth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">During the plenary session, the following speakers presented their papers:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Jason Huang (Sentec)<\/strong> \u2013 <em>The Critical Role of&nbsp;Power Modules in&nbsp;Advancing Next-Generation Applications<\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Wang Yung Chen (KopherBit Co., Ltd.)<\/strong> \u2013 <em>Next-generation mobility technologies \u2013 from concept to&nbsp;implementation: a&nbsp;new technical blueprint<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-justify wp-block-paragraph\">After a&nbsp;coffee break and networking session, participants had the opportunity to&nbsp;see an&nbsp;electric racing car built by&nbsp;students of&nbsp;the PK&nbsp;Krakow University of&nbsp;Technology and presented on&nbsp;the main campus. The demonstration attracted great interest from guests from Taiwan as&nbsp;well as&nbsp;from representatives of&nbsp;Polish research institutions and technology companies. The visits included:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Faculty of&nbsp;Electrical and Computer Engineering<\/strong> \u2013 including the <em>el-RAPPRO<\/em> student research group, specializing in&nbsp;3D printing and electronic system design<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Faculty of&nbsp;Chemical Engineering and Technology<\/strong> \u2013 laboratories researching functional materials and processes supporting industrial innovation<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Faculty of&nbsp;Mechanical Engineering<\/strong> \u2013 the <em>Educational Industry Line<\/em>, implementing projects in&nbsp;automation and robotics<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Laboratory of&nbsp;Technoclimatic Testing and Working Machines<\/strong> \u2013 research on&nbsp;machinery and equipment under extreme climatic conditions<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Laboratory of&nbsp;Environmental Aerodynamics<\/strong> and <strong>Wind Engineering Laboratory<\/strong> \u2013 studies on&nbsp;the impact of&nbsp;wind, snow, and environmental factors on&nbsp;structures and machines<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Laboratory of&nbsp;Ultra-Precise Coordinate Measurements<\/strong> \u2013 equipped with world-class instrumentation for ultra-precise measurements from nano to&nbsp;large-scale, essential for advanced industrial technologies.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"2560\" height=\"1928\" src=\"https:\/\/pk.edu.pl\/wp-content\/uploads\/5_i-scaled.jpg\" alt=\"5 i\" class=\"wp-image-10175\" srcset=\"https:\/\/pk.edu.pl\/wp-content\/uploads\/5_i-scaled.jpg 2560w, https:\/\/pk.edu.pl\/wp-content\/uploads\/5_i-300x226.jpg 300w, https:\/\/pk.edu.pl\/wp-content\/uploads\/5_i-1024x771.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/pk.edu.pl\/wp-content\/uploads\/5_i-768x578.jpg 768w, https:\/\/pk.edu.pl\/wp-content\/uploads\/5_i-1536x1157.jpg 1536w, https:\/\/pk.edu.pl\/wp-content\/uploads\/5_i-2048x1542.jpg 2048w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 2560px) 100vw, 2560px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Collaboration and exchange of&nbsp;experience<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-justify wp-block-paragraph\">In&nbsp;the evening, a&nbsp;formal dinner brought together representatives of&nbsp;all partner institutions, including the Southern Taiwan University of&nbsp;Science and Technology, Industrial Technology Research Institute, and, naturally, our university. The meeting provided an&nbsp;excellent opportunity to&nbsp;strengthen relationships, exchange experiences, and discuss future directions for joint research cooperation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Dialogue between science and industry<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-justify wp-block-paragraph\">The Forum continues the cooperation initiated in&nbsp;2019 between Polish and Taiwanese research institutions. The Krak\u00f3w meeting highlighted the importance of&nbsp;interdisciplinary dialogue in&nbsp;electromobility, biotechnology, renewable energy, and energy transition \u2013 all key areas of&nbsp;innovation and sustainable development.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-justify wp-block-paragraph\">The Forum was co-organized by&nbsp;the Institute of&nbsp;Mining Technology KOMAG, PK&nbsp;Krakow University of&nbsp;Technology, Silesian University of&nbsp;Technology, Southern Taiwan University of&nbsp;Science and Technology (STUST), and the Industrial Technology Research Institute (ITRI).
