PK Krakow University of Technology is more than a place to study. It is a community of students, researchers and makers who turn curiosity into real-world solutions. Eight faculties, one shared spirit: learning by doing, working together and thinking beyond borders. Currently, 11,518 students study at PK Krakow University of Technology \u2013 including 456 persons from abroad. Employees also constitute a considerable group. The university employs 1,999 persons, and 58 percent of this number are research and teaching staff. Based in Krak\u00f3w, one of Europe\u2019s most vibrant student cities, we welcome people from Poland and around the world. Founded in 1945 and named after engineer and national hero Tadeusz Ko\u015bciuszko, PK Krakow University of Technology combines respect for tradition with openness to innovation. Eight faculties and a Doctoral School offer accredited programmes in Polish and English, in the heart of Krak\u00f3w. In the latest national evaluation, the university received the highest categories, A+ and A, placing it among Poland\u2019s top three.
